Project Requirements

Design and develop a new web application to track the mileage of long combination vehicles travelling across Ontario for the purpose of sharing the data with the ministry of transportation. The web application was built on a LAMP foundation and incorporates the following features:

• Admin level functionality for creating and managing profiles of carriers
• Multiple membership tiers to accommodate admins, carriers and drivers
• Trip recording system for saving individual trip records
• Custom search form with advanced parameters for locating trip records in the database
• Dynamic search fields for quickly finding locations and drivers based on entered search query
• Data comparison charts for current year vs previous year of carrier mileage
• CSV and Excel data exporting
